Another one from the havelock lsland.
The following text is for people interested in participating in the next Am3 theme project. Read, and feel free to copy and paste this text on your own image page once you have the details ... Information obtained from Damon Schreiber's Photoblog:
"Ok, here's how the next theme's going to work. I want it to be open to anyone, but there's a catch: if you comment on my photos until the middle of April, I'll send you the details (Aminus3 members only naturally). Then once you have them, you can pass them along to anyone who comments on your photos. This way, we can play a fun game of whispers, and see what we come up with at the end. Of course, you can let me know if you're not interested."

WoW - these are VERY beautiful shots - they don't look digital at all - they have a very filmic quality about them

You did it again! Fantastic picture.

This is a really beautiful picture. To be critical, I find the border and text distracting ... a more subtle colour (like dark gray) may work better. A great shot nonetheless.

@Aaron Schmidt: Thanks for the critic aaron, i am just trying to see how they look when framed.

wow, peace-fully and calm-fully. the tones are great, the composition, the presentation, your user name (alive and clicking), everything!
btw, what is this thing about the theme you mention?
Cheers!

@Imarchi: The text about the theme thing is from Damon Schreiber. I wanted to show my interest on it and i just copy pasted it from his photoblog.
It's a different rendition of tomorrow's photo, a different feel that was a little experimental for me. Thanks for your input!
Great work, beautiful. Like the new frame =)

11 Apr 2007 8:56am
as i say picture is really great .. but i wanna know that how do u do that white framing and text on the picture ??
11 Apr 2007 9:10am
@Amarjit: Using photoshop, alt+crtl+C to increase canvas size with preferred bg(here the frame color) then type in the text.
I will learn the post processing tech. that you apply to your beach shots when I meet you. Hope you want mind sharing the trick to me.
11 Apr 2007 10:12am
@Shuva: Definitely Shuva, for this photograph i did'nt do much processing, except for pushing the saturation little up. Convert to LAB color, crtl+M for curves and made a little 'S' curve for all channels(lightness,a,b).
Ok I just played around with Curves a bit and I think I managed to get one of my lake pictures quite similar to this. Posted for tomorrow. Be sure to check out and provide some feedback.
